LAUNCHING YOUR SMALL GROUP

Look here to find tips, best practices, and guides for how to lead and organize your small group

MAKE A PLAN

Scroll down to see the steps of how to get ready to launch a Bible study

1. DECIDE HOW TO START

Here are the 3 best options we can give you for how to launch your Bible study. Talk to your co-leader(s) and choose one of these 3:

1. Meet outside in person: we recommend a place near the dorm/corner you're planting a study in. As long as the weather is nice, this may be the best option.
2. Find another distancing-friendly space to meet in person, like an off campus house or a church space (we'll provide more info on that soon).

3. Begin virtually over video chat

2. DECIDE A TIME AND PLACE*

It's better to have something set down in a calendar that you and your co-leader(s) have agreed on than to wait until the last minute! Once you decide your time and place, email your wit com staff to let them know.

*if you're starting virtually, you don't need to decide a place.

3. GATHER AND LAUNCH

1. Do you have core members from last year who want to continue? Invite them! Let them know the details.

2. Make every effort to meet and get to know the people of your floor/dorm/corner.

3. Invite them to fill out an online connection card.

This is available on all our social media and website.

4. Follow up with online connection cards and the people you've been meeting. Invite them to your first couple of Bible studies.
