UWEC STAFF
Full time staff are appointed individuals on mission to bring Jesus' ministry to the Eau Claire campus. They are funded entirely on the support of those who believe in the work they do for Eau Claire students.
Each staff member is prayerfully connected with resident halls, identity based groups, and faculty on campus. They train and support leaders across campus, cultivate new relationships, disciple students, and teach God's Word. They organize our weekly Monday night gatherings, as well as our outreach events and retreats/conferences. Day in and day out, online or in person, this group is ready to do what needs to be done to bring Jesus' character to campus.

JAY ANDERSON
Jay graduated with a degree in engineering, but has served on staff with UWEC InterVarsity since 1987. He loves to fish and play board games. He hates running, but runs 12-15 miles a week and has run over 25 marathons.
AMANDA KUNDERT
Amanda graduated from UW-Eau Claire in December 2021 where she did a semester-long internship with InterVarsity. After raising support, she started full-time on campus in Fall of 2022. Amanda loves planting small groups and helping students develop their leadership skills to advance the Kingdom. In her spare time, you can find Amanda reading a historical fiction book, line dancing, or spending time outdoors.

ASHLEIGH MADSEN
Ashleigh graduated from UW-Eau Claire in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Music Education. She loves playing trumpet, piano, and bass guitar on worship teams and continues to play trumpet in the Eau Claire community. Ashleigh joined staff in August 2025 and is passionate about equipping students to lead well, follow Jesus more closely, and create communal spaces that reflect God's love to others. In addition to music, Ashleigh loves the outdoors, recreational sports, and sharing a meal with friends!

FINANCIALLY SUPPORTING STAFF
"The amount of work they have to do, to work with us, is incredible. I could not be more thankful." - UWEC Student

It takes a village of donations and support to put a full time staff member on campus. UW Eau Claire is incredibly grateful to have amazing full time staff members. This is only possible, however, with the prayers and financial support of ministry partners.

We ask that you prayerfully consider donating to the Eau Claire fund and give boldly as Jesus did. Your support will continue the legacy of UWEC Intervarsity.
